We Debate is a documentary made in 2013 to describe the benefits of policy debate and encourage students to get involved with the activity. Many people outside of the debate community think of the movie The Great Debaters when they imagine competitive debate and they are not aware of the different types of arguments that can be presented in a debate round. With the creation of this documentary I hope to inform viewers about the reality of policy debate and how it can be a very fun and beneficial activity. The debaters and alumni featured in the film are from James Madison University, Liberty University and Towson University. I would like to extend a special thanks to them as without their participation this movie would not have been possible.

The documentary was filmed during the Districts tournament at the University of Mary Washington and the Junior Varsity/Novice Nationals at Towson University. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or feedback about the documentary.
